I was overwelmed with replies to my plea on Folksy forum for bird images to include in my Folksy Friday blog. Here are a few which didn`t quite fit under the title of Garden Birds but are beautiful in their own way so I decided to do an extra blog on Fantasy Birds.

Garden Birds, Folksy Friday

This weekend the RSPB are asking us all to count the birds that appear in our garden or local park, full details on their website

My daughter works in a Birds of Prey centre on Saturdays so I`ve told her she`s not allowed to count the birds in the garden at work, 5 owls & several harris hawks, eagles etc. in one spot might confuse the experts a bit :-)

To get us all in the mood for a spot of birdwatching I thought I`d do a folksy friday blog about garden birds. The first one is from my shop & the rest the result of a plea on the forums for items.

Hope everyone had a great night of celebrations last night & not too many hangovers today! We have celebrated at home since daughter was born 17 years ago, too much hassle finding a trustworthy & affordable babysitter when she small & now I don`t think I can put up with all the crowds/noise in the local pub. So we had a quiet night in watching telly & listening to the fireworks outside.
